Description

Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA. Modestly graded example of this classic tobacco card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. The green-background portrait pose is the rarest of the four poses of Cobb in the T206 set. This example has a brilliant green background and a strong image of Cobb. Piedmont 150/25 advertising reverse. Downgraded due to a number of condition issues including rounded corners, light soiling, and centering toward the extreme top. This is a pleasing example of one of the key cards in the premier tobacco issue of the 1910 era.
