Collection of one hundred sixty-two vintage boxing cards from six classic series, spanning the years 1913 to 1938. The collection is highlighted by numerous Hall of Famers, including James Jeffries, Gene Tunney, Jack Dempsey and Joe Louis. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1913 John Player & Sons "Wrestling & Ju-Jitsu" Complete Set (25) Plus 5 Duplicates: Condition ranges from Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex), with a couple lesser. 2) 1913 Wills's Scissors "British Army Boxers" Near-Complete Set (42/43) Plus 2 Duplicates: Condition ranges from Vg to Ex (averaging Ex), with a couple better and 10% lesser. Missing only #18 for completion. 3) 1924 Franklyn, Davey & Co. "Boxing" Complete Set (25): Condition ranges from Ex to Nr/Mt (averaging Ex-Mt), with a couple lesser. 4) 1929 Godfrey Phillips "Sporting Champions" Complete Set (36): Condition ranges from Vg to Ex-Mt (averaging Vg-Ex/Ex), with a couple lesser and one that measures small).
