Presented is an incredible complete 65-card set of 1997 Pokemon Japanese Rocket, entirely graded and encapsulated MINT 9 by PSA. Rocket was the fourth Pokemon expansion in Japan, following Base, Jungle, and Fossil. These four expansions, along with the preceding Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge, constitute the original era sets and feature the original 151 Pokemon. Rocket is best remembered for introducing Dark Pokemon and is highlighted by the inclusion of several fan favorites, including Dark Charizard, Dark Blastoise, and Dark Dragonite. It's interesting to note that early Japanese Pokemon sets like Rocket did not use card numbers to identify cards. Instead, they used the Pokemon's Pokedex number in the place where the card number would normally be. Keys: #6 Dark Charizard Holographic, #9 Dark Blastoise Holographic, #24 Dark Arbok Holographic, #42 Dark Golbat Holographic, #45 Dark Vileplume Holographic, #51 Dark Dugtrio Holographic, #65 Dark Alakazam Holographic, #68 Dark Machamp Holographic, #80 Dark Slowbro Holographic, 82 Dark Magneton Holographic, #97 Dark Hypno Holographic, #110 Dark Weezing Holographic, #130 Dark Gyarados Holographic, #149 Dark Dragonite Holographic, Rocket's Sneak Attack Holographic, Team Rocket Trainer Holographic, Rainbow Energy Holographic. This is an outstanding high-grade set, which would make a worthy addition to any nonsport, Pokemon, or trading card game collection. Total: 65 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
