The set, which is one of the most popular sets of the 1980s, includes rookie cards of Don Mattingly, Joe Carter, and Darryl Strawberry, and key cards of Nolan Ryan, Tony Gwynn, Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg, Cal Ripken, and Pete Rose. All the other stars of the day are also included. Missing only two cards for completion (#527 and 647). This set consists of an astonishing 619 GEM MINT 10s, 36 MINT 9s, two NM-MT 8s, and one NM 7.
