Extremely desirable circa 1889 Allen & Ginter "Birds of the Tropics" premium album featuring all 50 cards from the N2 Allen & Ginter set. This is a very substantial tobacco premium album featuring the entire "Birds of the Tropics" set. The tobacco companies spared no expense in producing these gorgeous full-color lithographic premium albums, available only by mail in exchange for coupons packed with tobacco products (in this case, Allen & Ginter). The album displays moderate handling wear, with surface damage on the back cover, including multiple spots of paper loss. The interior pages are bright and crisp. A very appealing example of this classic, popular, and colorful premium album.
