Lot # 2891: 1999 Pokemon Jungle PSA-Graded Complete Set (64) Including 61 GEM MINT 10 Examples

Presented is an ultra-high-grade complete 64-card set of 1999 Pokemon Jungle, entirely graded and encapsulated GEM MINT 10 and MINT 9 by PSA. The Jungle set is particularly significant in the Pokemon community as it represents the second series released by Wizards of the Coast in 1999, following the Base set that, along with the Fossil set, combine to feature the original 151 Pokemon. Pokemon characters featured for the first time in this set are essentially the equivalent to rookie cards in sports sets. Like the Base and Fossil sets, this set is renowned by collectors for its outstanding artwork. Like the other Pokemon issues, cards in this set feature rounded corners, yellow borders, and a blue reverse that prominently displays the iconic Pokemon logo. The Jungle set can be identified by the Vileplume symbol located just under the bottom right corner of the picture. Each card has been graded GEM MINT 10 by PSA, with the exception of three cards: #5 Kangaskhan Holographic, 11 Snorlax Holographic, and 12 Vaporeon Holographic. These three cards grade MINT 9.
