Presented is a collection of 50 cards (47 different) from the 1943 La Ambrosia Amateur Cuban Baseball series. These cards were intended to be affixed into an album (not included here) specifically designed to house the 242-card set. The condition is Poor to Fair overall (including a couple slightly better and three trimmed), with all cards showing some degree of back damage from album removal. Includes the following: Aguirre, Aloma, Alonso, Aristondo, Asencio, Baez, Campos, Carneado, Doy, Espineira, Estrella, F. Fernandez, Gadart, Galvez, E. Garcia, A. Garcia, Garmondia, R. Gonzalez, Gutierrez, J.R. Herandez, E. Hernandez, L. Iglesias, two P. Jimenez, E. Jimenez, Lozano, Mantaras, Marrero, A. Martinez, two J. Martinez, Mato, Mendizabal, Mir, Nogueira, A. Pascual, Perez, Ponjuan, J. Rodriguez, C. Rodriguez, A. Rodriguez, Silas, Suzarte, A. Torres, C. Torres, Valdez, Vega, two Villarnovo, and Vizcaino. Also included in this collection is a circa 1947 La Jugada Grafica de Base Ball collector's album with 12 cards attached inside. This exceedingly rare 18-page album is loosely attached at the stapled binding and grades Very Good overall. Twelve cards (#1 Hall de la Fama, 21, 24, 29, 33, 44, 45, 58, 59, 65, 74, and 78) are glued to their proper spot in the album. A very pleasing collection of these scarce 1940s Cuban League cards. Total: 62 cards, plus one album.
