Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Mid-grade example of Philadelphia Athletics Hall of Famer Eddie Plank from the T204 Ramly series, one of the premier tobacco-card issues of the era. The Ramly series is one of the most desirable of all the tobacco-card issues, appreciated by collectors both for its rarity and distinctive style. Plank is one of only 15 Hall of Famers in the set. The offered example has a striking portrait image, minimal chipping to the gold borders, and light corner wear. There are a few tiny pencil marks along the reverse noted for accuracy. This is a very attractive mid-grade example of this popular Hall of Famer from this extremely condition-sensitive set.
