Presented is a 1953 Topps partial set of 157 different cards (out of 274). 1953 Topps is universally recognized as one of the most popular and collected of all 1950s gum issues, and one of the most significant of all postwar baseball-card issues. Includes forty-one cards from the scarce high-number series (#221-280). Condition is 20% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a couple Nr/Mt), 48% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 32% lesser (including thirty-four with color added).
