Description

Presented is Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Honus Wagner, one of the key cards from the extremely rare M110 Sporting Life cabinet set issued in 1911. Each card in the M110 set features beautiful full-color pastel artwork on the front and advertising for Sporting Life on the reverse. M110s are similar in design to, but far rarer than, the contemporary T3 Turkey Red cabinets. This is one of the rarest and most beautiful of all Honus Wagner cards. The offered card is bright and crisp with a flawless image of Wagner batting. The back has a boldly printed advertisement for Sporting Life. Technically graded GOOD 2 (MK) by PSA largely due to pencil writing on the front and a small crease around the top-left corner. However, the card has a strong appearance. This is an extremely attractive example of one of the most striking and rarest of all Honus Wagner cards, with an appearance superior to its technically accurate PSA-assigned grade. Dimensions: 5-5/8 x 7-1/2 inches.
