Complete, original rack box case of 1978 Topps baseball, which contains three unopened boxes with 24 packs per box, for a total of 72 packs. With each pack containing 39 cards, the case represents a total of 2,808 cards. This case comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). Each box inside comes individually shrink-wrapped by BBCE and is noted to have originated from a sealed case (FASC designation on label). The "factory sealed" distinction is particularly important and makes the offered case even more impressive. The 1978 Topps set includes rookie cards of Eddie Murray, Paul Molitor, and Alan Trammell, and key cards of George Brett and Nolan Ryan. The original outer case displays moderate wear. A tremendous opportunity to acquire this extraordinary and rarely seen rack case from the popular 1978 Topps baseball issue. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
