Presented is a near-complete set (39/42) of 1970 Topps Super, highlighted by many Hall of Famers and stars, including Willie Mays and Hank Aaron. Missing #12 Clemente, 19 Stargell, and 38 Powell SP for completion. Condition is 40% Nr/Mt or better, 24% Ex to Ex-Mt, 15% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 21% lesser (including one miscut). Keys: #8 Bench (Pr due to back damage), 18 Mays (Gd+), 24 Aaron (small tape repair, otherwise Pr), 28 Jackson (Ex), 34 Rose (Nr/Mt), and 37 F. Robinson SP (Nr/Mt-Mt). Because of their scarcity relative to other Topps sets of the era, it is a little surprising that this issue has not received more attention from collectors, but this is primarily because for many years grading companies did not have holders for this large-format issue. This is no longer the case, and collectors can now build sets of these cards in graded form just like they've done for many years with standard-sized cards.
