Presented is a complete set of 1971-1972 Topps basketball, consisting of 233 different cards. Included are the following six trio stickers (four Ex and two Vg-Ex): #1/2/3 Murphy, 7a/8a/9a, 13/14/15 Hayes, 19a/20a/21a, 22 Maravich/23/24 Havlicek, and #46 Team Logos. The 1971-1972 Topps set is very popular among collectors for its bright colors and funky text, both telltale signs of an early 1970s issue. The set is loaded with stars and Hall of Famers, including Pete Maravich, Oscar Robertson, and rookie cards of Rick Barry, Dave Cowens, Bob Lanier, Larry Brown, Nate Archibald, and Dan Issel. This was also the first year that Topps included cards of ABA (American Basketball Association) players. Condition is 20% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, 64% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 16% Gd to Vg (mostly Vg).
