Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Spectacular ultra-high-grade rookie card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Al Kaline from the extremely popular 1954 Topps issue. This is one of the finest examples of this classic card that we have ever offered! The card displays sharp corners, bold colors, and a virtually flawless red background. The centering is exceptional, which is particularly notable for this card, as it so often comes with extremely serious centering problems. Clean and boldly printed reverse. Kaline is one of the key cards to the 1954 Topps set and is one of four Hall of Fame rookies who made their Topps debut that year (Aaron, Banks, and Lasorda are the other three).
