Lot # 34: 1909-1911 T206 White Border Bill O'Hara St. Louis Variation SGC GOOD 30

Graded GOOD 30 by SGC. Very presentable example of the rare Bill O'Hara card, St. Louis Browns T206 variation. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this variation, contributing to its significant rarity. T206 cards issued with Polar Bear tobacco were not well protected from the accompanying product, so almost all O'Haras have significant condition problems, including at least some tobacco staining (including this example). This diamond cut card exhibits brilliant colors, outstanding registration, and moderate corner wear. The Polar Bear reverse is boldly printed. This is a pleasing low-grade example of one of the rarest and most condition-sensitive cards in the classic T206 White Border set.
