Presented is an outstanding mid- to high-grade near-complete set of 1956 Topps, consisting of 338 different cards (out of 340 in the set). Missing only #130 Mays and 135 Mantle for completion. Includes both back variations of #81 and two duplicates (#314 and 323). This near set features dozens of Hall of Famers and stars of the era, highlighted by Hank Aaron, Ted Williams, Roberto Clemente, Jackie Robinson, and the rookie card of Luis Aparicio! Forty-four cards have significant gray backs (#1-100). Seventy-nine cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA (one by GAI). Unencapsulated Keys: #181 Martin (Ex-Mt), 200 Feller (Gd-Vg due to small scrape of paper loss on surface), and Checklist 2/4 (Ex+). This is a superb mid- to high-grade near-complete set (minus two) of this classic 1950s Topps issue. The SMR value for just 75 of the graded cards (factoring in the two EX-MT+ half grades at the lower whole-grade level and not including the GAI-graded card, the PSA-qualified card, and the two cards graded VG-EX 4) is $10,345.
