Lot # 263: 1909-1911 T206 White Border Wid Conroy With Bat SGC FAIR 1.5 - Drum Back

Graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC. Presented is an extremely rare example of Wid Conroy (with bat, Washington Senators) from the T206 White Border series featuring a Drum advertising reverse. This is one of only four examples of this front/back combination that have been graded between PSA and SGC. All Drum backs are very rare. According to T206Resource.com, Drum backs are the fifth most difficult to find advertising reverse within the T206 set (out of 39). This well-centered example has bright colors, excellent registration, and moderate corner wear. The important Drum advertising reverse is boldly printed. A crease in the upper right and light staining on the reverse contribute to the assigned grade. A remarkable sample of this incredible back rarity that would make an outstanding addition to even the most advanced collection.
