Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Appealing example of this classic tobacco card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the T206 White Border series. Cobb's red background portrait pose is one of the key cards in the set and one of the most recognizable of all prewar-era tobacco cards. This well-centered example displays a beautiful red background, outstanding registration, and light corner wear. Boldly printed Piedmont 350-460/25 advertising reverse. Please note that there is a crease that stops just above Cobb's head and continues only as a surface wrinkle on the reverse.
