Presented are eight mostly high-grade complete 396-card sets of 1984 Topps football. These stunning complete sets have bright colors, strong corners, and an overall pack-fresh quality. The 1984 Topps set includes an impressive twelve different rookie cards of Hall of Famers, highlighted by Dan Marino, John Elway, and Eric Dickerson. Included are near-complete sets of 1987 and 1988 Topps football with inserts and duplicates. This collection consists of the following: 1-8) 1984 Topps Complete Sets (8 sets, 396 cards per set): Condition is 73% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including some Mint) and 27% Ex to Ex-Mt (including some due solely to centering and 2% slightly lesser). Keys: Eight #63 Elway RC (three Nr/Mt-Mt, PSA NM 7, two Nr/Mt, and two Ex-Mt), eight 111 Long RC, eight 123 Marino RC (four Nr/Mt-Mt, 25/75 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt+, Ex due to centering, Vg-Ex due to centering, and smoothed out corners from storage in a screw-down holder, otherwise Vg-Ex), eight 143 Tippett RC, eight 222 Covert RC, eight 228 Payton (Nr/Mt-Mt, four Nr/Mt, Ex-Mt, and two Ex), eight 280 Dickerson RC (four Nr/Mt-Mt, three Nr/Mt, and one Ex-Mt), eight 358 Montana, and eight 380 Green RC. 9) 1987 Topps Near-Complete Set (326/396) Plus Near-Complete 1,000 Yard Club Set (22/24) and 173 Duplicates: Missing the following seventy cards for completion: #12, 14, 17, 18, 38, 42, 57, 59, 62, 71, 73, 80, 92, 96, 102, 109, 115, and 128. Condition of the base cards is 75% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including some Mint) and 25% Ex to Ex-Mt (including 2% slightly lesser). Condition of the 1,000-Yard-Club cards ranges from Vg-Ex to Nr/Mt overall (averaging Ex/Ex-Mt). Condition is 81% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including some Mint) and 19% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a few slightly lesser). Missing only #327 Jackson for completion. Keys: #144 Bosworth RC (Nr/Mt-Mt), 157 Doleman RC (Mint), and 300 Greene RC (Vg-Ex). This is a very attractive high-grade collection of 1980s Topps football sets with many impressive highlights.
