Description

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Classic card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the T205 Gold Border series. This is a solid mid-grade example of one of collecting's classic cards. Cobb is not just the most valuable card in the set, it is also one of the best-known and most popular of all his cards. This example has vibrant colors, a bold image, even corner wear (weaker top left), and light chipping along the delicate gold borders. Advertising for Piedmont appears on the reverse. Please note there is a vertical crease in from the bottom edge. This is an outstanding example of Ty Cobb, the key card in the T205 Gold Border set, in a particularly desirable grade, from this extremely condition-sensitive set.
