Description

Exceedingly rare collection of six double-sided Post Cereal Football grocery store displays circa early 1960s. These colorful grocery store displays, printed on either cardboard or paper stock, were designed as three different types - "stick displays," "over-the-wire pennants," and "shelf talkers." This collection features one stick sign (3362-H and 3362-K) and five over-the-wire pennants (3361-A, C, D, E, and G). The stick sign (29.5 x 24 inches), printed on cardboard stock, is composed of two different signs stapled together, and bears an opening along the bottom for the stick to slide in between the two signs. Three over-the-wire pennants (3361-C, D, and E), printed on paper stock, measure 12 x 24 inches, while the remaining two (3361-A and G) measure 33 x 24 inches. These are the first examples of this store display that we have offered in the past 22 years. The pieces are in overall Good condition with various minor imperfections including creasing, moderate edge and corner wear, and a small touch of paper loss, which do not significantly detract from its very impressive display value. Total: 6 items. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
