Graded VG 40 by SGC. Presented is a strong mid-grade example of one of the key rarities in the entire E90-1 American Caramel series (and of all caramel cards): the horizontal throwing pose of Hall of Famer Wee Willie Keeler. Reminiscent of Christy Mathewson in the 1914 and 1915 Cracker Jack sets, Keeler is a key Hall of Famer who has two poses in the E90-1 set. The portrait pose is relatively common. The horizontal throwing pose is extremely rare. This card is bright and clean, both front and back, with a bold red background, honest corner wear, and a couple light creases. Clean reverse. This is a tremendous example of a key Hall of Famer rarity from the most popular caramel-card set of the era.
