Description

Rare ticket stub from Jim Brown's first National Football League game, the Cleveland Browns against the New York Giants at Cleveland Stadium on September 29, 1957. Jim Brown made his NFL debut at Cleveland Stadium in front of a season-opening crowd of 58,095. Brown rushed for 89 yards on 21 carries in a 6-3 Browns victory. Encapsulated as "Authentic" by PSA, the stub (3-3/4 x 1-5/8 inches) is issued for an "Upper Stand" seat and presents in Good condition overall. The kickoff time and date are also preprinted on the ticket stub. This is an attractive example of this important ticket stub and one that would make a welcome addition to an advanced Jim Brown, Cleveland Browns, or football ticket collection.
