Lot # 1041: 1952 Topps #307 Frank Campos PSA GOOD 2 - Rare "Partial Top Border" Variation

Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Extremely rare example of the 1952 Topps "Partial Top Border" printing variation of #307 Frank Campos (Washington Senators). The black line framing the picture of Campos on this card is noticeably different than other Campos examples. The line is partially broken on the upper left portion. This is only the third example we have ever offered in the past 22 years! The card is bright and crisp, with honest corner wear, bold colors, and light creasing. Boldly printed reverse. Because of its rarity there is no consensus on the value for this card. We are confident the auction process will provide clarity. This is a very appealing example of this virtually impossible-to-find 1952 Topps variation, worthy of any 1952 Topps master set.
