Mid-grade 1941 Play Ball of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio, one of collecting's most famous cards, featuring the "Yankee Clipper" in his familiar swing-through pose. This example displays brilliant colors, a crisp image, and even corner wear. Boldly printed reverse with light toning visible throughout. This card tends to be difficult to find in high grade because it is #71 of 72 cards in the set. Kids often put these cards in numerical order, subjecting the first and last few card numbers to additional wear.
