Description

Brass tray issued to the participants in the 1953 New York Yankees Old Timers' Day game. The tray features a portrait image of former Yankees first baseman Lou Gehrig, with the engraving around the perimeter reading "Old Timers Day Yankee Stadium - In Memory of Lou Gehrig - Native New Yorker - Played in the Year of the 300th Anniversary of the City of New York - August 22nd, 1953." The tray (9 inches in diameter) is lightly tarnished and is in Excellent condition overall.
