Lot # 1083: 1951 Bowman Near-Complete Set (321/324)

Presented is a mostly mid-grade near-complete set consisting of 321 different (of 324) 1951 Bowman baseball cards, highlighted by many Hall of Famers and stars, and missing only three cards for completion: #165 Williams, 253 Mickey Mantle RC, and 305 Willie Mays RC. Condition is 28% Vg-Ex to Ex, 60% Gd to Vg, and 12% lesser (including a couple that measure a bit small). The high numbers (#253-324) grade a bit higher overall than the low numbers. We have selected three cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. This is a very attractive near-complete set of this classic early 1950s Bowman issue, which provides an excellent foundation for the assembly of an outstanding mid-grade complete set.
