Description

Original unopened wax pack from the 1974 Topps "Puzzle" baseball series. The 1974 Topps puzzle set was test-marketed on a very limited basis only in New England and was sold side by side with the more well known 1974 Topps Deckle Edge test set. Each "puzzle card" is designed as a 40-piece puzzle (4.75 x 7.5 inches), which when assembled forms a large picture of a particular player. Unopened packs of this test issue are very scarce. Bright and crisp with minor creases. An extremely scarce unopened pack and an outstanding companion piece to any complete set of this unusual 1970s Topps test issue! The pack comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material).
