Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by PSA. Stunning mid-grade example of New York Giants Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson in his pitching motion from the classic E90-1 American Caramel series. This caramel card is considered by many collectors to be one of Mathewson’s most striking cards. The offered card has beautiful colors, outstanding registration, and even corner wear. A patch of paper loss along the upper-right edge of the reverse is largely responsible for the assigned grade. This is an appealing example of a key Hall of Famer from the most popular caramel-card set of the era.
