Description

Presented is a complete 42-card 1970 Topps Super set, highlighted by many Hall of Famers and stars including Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Roberto Clemente. Condition of the set is 10% Nr/Mt or better, 25% Ex to Ex-Mt, 34% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 31% lesser. Keys: #8 Bench (Vg-Ex), 12 Clemente (Gd+), 18 Mays (PSA EX 5), 24 Aaron (Pr), 28 Jackson (Ex+), 34 Rose (Fr), 37 F. Robinson SP (Fr-Gd), and 38 Powell SP (Gd). Because of their scarcity relative to other Topps sets of the era, it is a little surprising that this issue has not received more attention from collectors, but this is primarily because for many years grading companies did not have holders for this large-format issue. This is no longer the case, and collectors can now build sets of these cards in graded form just like they've done for many years with standard-sized cards. An attractive mixed-grade complete set with several highlights. Total: 42 cards.
