Description
Personal check, dated March 19, 1954, signed in green ink by Detroit Tigers Hall of Fame outfielder Ty Cobb. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and graded the signature MINT 9. The check, drawn on the First National Bank of Nevada, is made out to "Schwabacher & Co." for $10,011.52. Signed “Tyrus R. Cobb” along the base. Cobb’s preprinted name appears along the left border. There are several stamped endorsements on the reverse. The check (8 x 3 inches) has a single vertical fold as well as standard bank cancellation stamps and perforations. Excellent condition overall.
