Description

Collection of seventeen 1948 R346 Blue Tint cards, featuring Mel Ott, Hank Greenberg, and Leo Durocher. This series was originally issued in strips of six or eight cards, which were intended to be hand cut by youngsters. Cards from this set are often in somewhat rough condition (miscut, creases, back damage, etc.). All the grades in the following condition composite are without respect to the neatness of the cut, as all of the cards are cut inside of the borders and would qualify only for "Authentic" if submitted for professional grading. Condition is 22% Vg-Ex to Ex, 43% Gd to Vg, and 35% Pr to Fr. This collection consists of the following: Six #2 Durocher (Gd, two Fr, and three Pr), 5, two 8, 18 Ott (Gd), 24, 27, 28, 30 Mize (Fr), 33, 35 Greenberg (Pr-Fr), and 39. Total: 17 cards.
