Presented is a complete set consisting of nine cards from the "Gatorade Slam Dunk" series issued by the Star Basketball Company in 1985, highlighted by Michael Jordan. This card predates Jordan's 1986-1987 Fleer rookie card. The set was devoted exclusively to the superstars who participated in the popular Slam Dunk contest. This set consists of the following: #1 Header/Checklist (Ex-Mt), 2 Nance (Ex-Mt), 3 Stansbury (Nr/Mt due solely to centering), 4 Drexler (70/30 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt), 5 Erving (70/30 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt), 6 Griffith (70/30 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt+), 7 Jordan (PSA NM 7), 8 Wilkins (Nr/Mt-Mt+), and 9 Woolridge (Vg-Ex).
