Description

Complete set of all twenty-four cards comprising the 1936 "Government Agents vs. Public Enemies" set, issued by M. Pressner & Company. This is one of nonsport-card collecting's all-time classic sets. These cards chronicle law enforcement adventures in an era that glamorized, at times, both the representatives of law enforcement as well as the criminals. Condition is Ex, Vg-Ex, six Vg, seven Gd, seven Pr-Fr, and two trimmed. This is an attractive complete set of these unusual, scarce, and very colorful 1930s cards, which celebrate law enforcement and capture the spirit of the times. Total 24 cards.
