Description
Fold-over program issued for the 1879 freshman football game between Harvard and Yale on November 22, 1879, at Hamilton Park. The interior lists the rosters for each club, while the reverse features a score sheet for recording touchdowns and goals. The score has been neatly entered in pencil, recording Yale's two touchdowns and Harvard's zero. The program (3.5 x 4.75 inches) has been neatly scored on the reverse and displays a thin area of adhesive residue along the edge of the right interior page, most likely the result of the program having once been mounted in an album. Excellent condition overall.
