Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level by PSA with none higher! Magnificent M101-2 Sporting News supplement featuring legendary Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. This sepia-toned premium set was issued with The Sporting News between the years 1909 and 1913. Each premium was issued on only a single day (August 12, 1909, in this case). Their method of issue and the thin paper stock on which they are printed make these unusual and striking premiums particularly susceptible to damage. This tremendous example has a striking image of Cobb holding his bat and no creases. The blank reverse is clean. This is a spectacular example worthy of the finest Ty Cobb collection.
