Description

Presented is a complete set of 1962 Topps Stamps (200), plus an original album. All stamps are lightly taped into the album. These stamps are actually "cards" that were two-player panels inserted into wax packs of 1962 Topps baseball cards. The 1962 stamps were designed in color with the image of the player, his name, team, and position. The stamps featured in the sets include numerous Hall of Famers and stars, highlighted by Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Stan Musial, Roger Maris, and Carl Yastrzemski. The appearance on the front of the stamps average Ex condition. The condition of the album is in Vg condition, mostly due to small tears on the perimeter of the pages. A very presentable set of this unusual and rarely offered stamp series. Keys: Aaron, Clemente, Mantle, Mays, and Musial. Total: 200 stamps, plus album.
