Graded VG/EX+ 4.5 by SGC. Strong mid-grade example of Cleveland Naps Hall of Famer Addie Joss from the T3 Turkey Red cabinet-card series. It is fascinating to note that the T3 Joss card was issued in the year of his death, as was the T205 card of Joss that mentions his untimely passing in the text of the reverse. Joss died from meningitis on April 14, 1911. The premium offer on the T3 Joss, as listed at the bottom of the reverse of the card, expires June 30, 1911. This example has brilliant colors, outstanding registration, light corner wear, and a small crease on the lower left (more noticeable from the reverse). Boldly printed checklist (with offer) reverse. This is one of Addie Joss’ most striking cards, in an extremely desirable grade, worthy of a high-quality Turkey Red or Hall of Fame collection.
