Graded VG+ 3.5 by BVG. Mid-grade example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle's true rookie card. One of card collecting's great classics, Mantle's Bowman rookie card is the key to the 1951 set and is one of the most popular and significant of all postwar baseball cards. This example has a crisp image of Mantle and honest corner wear. A faint stain is visible along the top of the reverse. This is a solid mid-grade example of this legendary card. Please note there is a small surface imperfection that is on the holder, not the card.
