Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Very attractive example of New York Giants Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson (dark cap) from the T206 White Border set with a desirable Carolina Brights advertising reverse. According to T206Resource.com, Carolina Brights ranks as the 11th toughest back within the T206 set. Any common player with a rare Carolina Brights back is notable, but an example of a key Hall of Famer such as Mathewson is especially noteworthy. This example exhibits vibrant colors, outstanding registration, honest corner wear, and excellent centering. The important advertising reverse is boldly printed. Flaws include an unobtrusive crease in the upper left and soiling along the reverse. This is a fantastic Carolina Brights example that would be a significant addition to any T206, Hall of Fame, or rare-back collection.
