Description

Graded EX 5 by PSA. Attractive mid-grade example of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Ted Williams' 1954 Bowman card, one of the most significant of all postwar baseball-card rarities. Williams had to be replaced with a different card (#66 Jimmy Piersall) very early in the 1954 Bowman print run due to contractual commitments to Topps. The offered card features bright colors, a crisp image, and minor corner wear. Clean reverse. Awarded an MBA Silver Diamond by Mike Baker Authenticated for high-end eye appeal. A corresponding MBA sticker is affixed to the front of the holder.
