One of card collecting's classics, Mantle's Topps rookie card is the key to the set, one of the most famous of all cards, and the single most popular and valuable baseball card. This card has beautiful colors and a crisp image of Mantle. The reverse is boldly printed with crisp red and black colors. Graded POOR 1 by PSA (MK), the card is downgraded due to creasing, corner wear, and a few faint pencil marks on the reverse, which accounts for the qualifier. Iconic cards, such as the 1952 Topps Mantle, always have tremendous interest for collectors in all grades. Lower-grade examples are naturally more affordable, and it is for this precise reason that lower-grade examples of important cards often have even more collectors interested in them! This card will be of enormous appeal to collectors looking to acquire a presentable yet comparatively affordable example of the most popular and desirable postwar card ever produced.
