Twenty-four complete original, unopened wax pack trays, each consisting of three packs from the 1979 Topps football series, representing a complete box. The offered tray box is especially noteworthy as it is noted to have originated from a sealed case (FASC designation on label). As factory-sealed cases from the 1970s are extremely rare, so too are boxes designated "From a Sealed Case." Each pack contains 12 cards for a total of 864 cards. The 1979 Topps set includes the rookie cards of Hall of Famers Earl Campbell, James Lofton and Ozzie Newsome, and many other stars, including Payton, Staubach, Bradshaw, and Dorsett. Each tray is tightly sealed and in Excellent condition overall. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (Steve Hart), the foremost expert on unopened material. The box displays beautifully. This is a very impressive unopened tray box with superb provenance. It would be a worthy addition to even the most advanced collection of 1979 Topps football or unopened material.
