Two page contract, dated April 16, 1962, signed by Roger Maris. The contract, between Maris and the advertising agency “Sullivan, Stauffer, Colwell & Bayles, Inc.,” on behalf of Whitehall Laboratories, calls for Maris to receive $1,500 in exchange for the agency’s continued use of the 60-second and 30-second commercials previously made by Maris. The contract, which runs for one year, also stipulates that the agency will have the right to renew the agreement for another year upon payment of $1,650 to Maris. It is signed in blue ink by “Roger Maris” and in black ink by “Frank Reed.” The contract (8.5 x 11 inches), which is typed on onionskin, displays edge tears and/or creases, staple holes in the upper left corner, and a rusted paperclip impression on each page. In Very Good condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
