Presented is a very attractive mid-grade complete set of 1962 Topps football cards. The black border design of the 1962 Topps football set makes this issue particularly challenging to collect in extremely high grade. This classic set features all the stars of the era, including rookie cards of Hall of Famers Mike Ditka and Fran Tarkenton, and stars such as Johnny Unitas, Jim Brown, Bart Starr, and Ernie Davis. Condition is 6% Ex-Mt, 74% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 20% Gd to Vg (including a couple lesser). Keys: #1 Unitas (Vg-Ex), 17 Ditka RC (Ex), 28 Brown (Vg-Ex), 36 Davis RC (Ex), 39 Meredith (trimmed, otherwise Vg-Ex), 63 Starr (Vg/Vg-Ex), 64 Hornung (Ex-Mt), 76 Checklist (miscut right edge, otherwise Ex), 88 Gabriel RC (Vg-Ex), 90 Tarkenton RC (Vg-Ex), 102 Tittle (Ex), 104 Gifford (Vg-Ex), 115 Jurgensen (Vg-Ex), 164 Snead RC (Vg-Ex+), and 176 Checklist (marked front and back, otherwise Vg-Ex).
