Offered is a partial back-run (11/22) of New York Highlanders star Hal Chase's blue portrait card from the T206 White Border series. Each card in this collection is graded by either SGC (7) or PSA (4). One of the set's "super prints," Chase's blue portrait card has one of the most front/back combinations of any subject in the set. Our consignor, who carefully assembled this run over many years, also has Lenox and Piedmont 350-460/42 Chase cards offered as individual lots in this auction. This collection consists of the following: El Principe de Gales (PSA 2), Old Mill (SGC 1), Piedmont 350 (SGC 30), Piedmont 350-460/25 (SGC 4), Polar Bear (PSA 1.5), Sovereign 350 (SGC 40), Sovereign 460 (SGC 30), Sweet Caporal 350/25 (PSA 4.5), Sweet Caporal 350/30 (PSA 1), Sweet Caporal 350-460/25 (SGC 40), and Tolstoi (SGC 30).
