Complete set of twenty-four 1933 R124 World Wide Gum (Canadian Goudey) "Sea Raiders" low-number series cards (#1-24), plus an original wrapper and five different cards from the scarce high-number series. Nine of the twenty-four cards (#1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 13, 14, and 16) in the low-number set are from the Canadian version of the set (usually with English/French bilingual text on the back). Each card features an image of a legendary pirate (such as Blackbeard, Captain Kidd, Sir Henry Morgan, etc.) or a scene related to a pirate's lifestyle (such as "walking the plank") on the front. The back of each card features the biography for the pirate or a description of the pirate-related scene. The condition of the low-number set is: 12% Vg-Ex, 42% Gd to Vg, and 46% Pr to Fr. The high-number cards consist of: #28 (Pr), 32 (Pr-Fr), 35 (Pr, blank back), 37 (Pr), and 47 (Pr). The wrapper is in Very Good condition.
