Description

Graded VG 3 by SGC. Tremendous example of what many consider to be the most classic of all Joe Jackson cards and one of the icons of all vintage baseball cards. The card features beautiful bold colors, a crisp, perfectly focused image, and even wear. A few minor creases are visible (most notably in the upper right and one parallel to Jackson's bat) along with light staining on the reverse. "Shoeless Joe" is one of the big three key cards in the set, along with Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner. While we feel the card's assigned grade is technically accurate, the card also boasts outstanding eye appeal and may represent exceptional value for collectors. This is an extraordinary example of one of card collecting's most classic and popular cards in an extremely desirable grade.
