Ticket stub (4 x 2.25 inches) issued for Game 1 of the 1965 World Series held between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins, signed in blue fine-point marker by Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax on the front. PSA/DNA has graded the signature GEM MINT 10 and certified the ticket stub as "Authentic." Game 1 is best remembered for who didn't play, Koufax, who sat out for Yom Kippur as his Dodgers fell to 8-2 to the Twins. Upon returning in Game 2, Koufax dominated the rest of the World Series in historic fashion. He threw three complete games, posted a microscopic .38 ERA across 24 innings with 29 strikeouts, and closed it out with a two-hit shutout in Game 7 to earn World Series MVP honors.
