Description

Offered is a pair of Converse sneakers presented to us as match-used by Jimmy Connors during the 1986 US Open. While the sneakers are not accompanied by official paperwork, our research indicates that Connors did wear this color and style of sneaker during the tournament. Connors was defeated in the third round of the 1986 US Open by Todd Witsken in straight sets. The sneakers display heavy wear in accordance with their match usage. Please note there is a tear in the leather on the right sneaker, next to the laces. Connors has signed the left sneaker in black ink. The sneakers are accompanied by a Connors' 1986 US Open credential card. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA. Total: 2 items (sneakers and credential card).
